CONJAY Explosive Detection Kits (manufactured Mistral) have been sold internationally to Prison Services, Customs and other Detection Authorities.
| What can you detect? |
The ETK detects the following Explosives
| Semtex |
| TNT, TNB, Tetryl |
| RDX |
| Dynamite |
| Nitrate Based |
| Procedure |
Either a person (e.g. a Hand) or a surface (e.g. a Car Steering Wheel, a Briefcase or a Drawer) can be chosen and the following method is then used:
(i) Wipe the area with the special Filter Paper (provided).
(ii) Spray the Filter Paper from the Can of Exspray No. 1
If there is no result then spray the Filter Paper from the Can of Exspray No. 2
If there is no result then spray the Filter Paper from the Can of Exspray No. 3
(iii) Wait for a Colour Reaction = A CONFIRMED RESULT!

The basic ETK comprises the following items, all convieniently fitted into a plastic carrying case.
1 unit Exspray No. 1, 1 unit Exspray No. 2, 1 unit Exspray No. 3,
2 units Universal Test Papers (50 Papers), 1 unit x Verification Papers (15 papers)

SEE-THROUGH SPRAYS:
(i) Spray onto an envelope or small packet.
(ii) Examine the contents inside.
(iii) When the spray dries off it leaves no residue or evidence that it has been used.
